Lindsay Mazzeo, MS., LPC
I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, practicing as a therapist in the Lehigh Valley.
After graduating from Moravian College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I attended Chestnut Hill College and earned a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology. I bring over a decade of counseling, agency and private practice experience working with a variety of demographics. I have experience treating children, adolescents and adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns.
Seeing such a wide range of clientele has lead me to the belief that the process of therapy should be tailored for each unique situation. I also believe when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change. There are many methods to accomplish this and I will help you explore what works for you.
I enjoy empowering my clients with the skills to improve self-esteem, manage stress, and navigate difficult life transitions. My goal is to help clients develop effective communication skills to improve self-advocacy and confidence. Each client deserves to recognize and take control of their personal strengths and weaknesses to develop new coping skills that lead a life they find fulfilling.
Professionally I member of the American Counseling Association and Psychology Today. Continuing education is an important part of my professionalism. I keep up to date with current research and topics through continuing education and attending conferences.
If you ever have a question, please ask. I do not have all the answers, but I will do my best to help you find them.
